Molecular mass is a number = to the sum of the atomic masses of the atoms in a molecule.
The molecular mass gives the mass of a molecule relative to that of the C¹² atom, which is taken to have a mass of 12.
It is dimensionless quantity.
It is unit of Dalton.
The mass is related to 1/12th the mass of a single atom of C¹².
Now here is a method how to calculate molecular mass.
1)Using the atomic mass of an element and multiplying it by conversion factor.
2)By finding the relative atomic made of an element.
3)Multiply the relative atomic mass by the molar mass constant.

there are many method to find molecular mass but some important method I write below
1) victory mayer method :- it is used to determine molar mass of volatile compounds as ,
molar mass =mass of volatile compound x 22400/volume of volatile compound
based of this
we use ,
molecular mass = 2 x vapour density
2) from Graham's law of difussion :-
according to this the rate of difussion is inversely proportional to square root of their molecular mass
e.g r1/r2 =root {M2/M1 }
3)ebulioscopic :- this is related to solution .
in this method ,
molar mass =kb x mass of solute x1000/mass of solvent x dTb
where kb is elevation constant and dTb is elevation in boiling point .
in this way we find molar mass or molecular mass of any substance.
