How to find the numbers where the lcm and hcf is given?

LCM and HCF of two numbers are given we have to find the numbers.

Let HCF of two numbers be 6 and LCM be 300.Let numbers be x and y.

x=6a and y=6b,where a and b are relative prime to each others.

6ab=LCM of x and y.

ab=300/6=50.

Now find a and b relative prime to each others and ab=50.

Thus (1,50),(2,25)

Hence numers are

(6,300),(12,150)
