How to find the nunber of 4 digit numbers which are divisible by 8 between 1000 to 9999?

there are 9*10*10*10 = 9000 numbers between 1000 and 9999 and exactly every 9-th one is divisible by 9, So the answer is 9000/9. are even. Same thing here, answer is 9000/2. 9 choices for first digit, 10-1=9 choices for second, 10-2 choices for third, and 10-3 choices for 4th.
