on putting it in the formulae An = A +(n-10)D

we get

100 = 7 + nD -D

100 = 7 +7n -7                 since D = 7

therefore n = 100/7 = 14.28  since n cant be a decimal value we have to round it nearest greater whole number

on rounding it to whole we get n = 15

on substituting it in formulae we get

              An = A+(n-1)D

                    = 7 +(15 -1 )7

                   =7 + 14 *7

                    = 7 +98

                       =105

therefore 105 is the smallest 3 digit number divisible by 7
