how to find the volume of a cylinder with the surface area and height

Since, 
A(cylinder) = 2πrh+2πr(square)
and A(LSA) = πr(square)
 
Therefore, V = A(lsa) * h
Solving for V, we get

V=1/4(h) (under root π * h - under root (πh(square) + 2 A)whole bracket square

So you may simply use this formula to obtain volume
