it would be helpful for me if you rate 5 and hit heart symbol

Explanation:

The  volume of an irregular object by immersing it in water in a beaker or other container with volume markings, and by seeing how much the level goes up.

this is also a method  for finding volume

Answer:

when sugar is dissolved in water , the volume does not remain the same . As a soluble material is added to a solvent , its molecules become surrounded by the solvent molecules and the volume increases slightly

so we must note the volume of water before adding sugar - note as x1

calculate the volume after adding the lump of sugar - note as x2

now subtract x2 from x1 = x2-x1

we can get the volume of lump of sugar added
