When a line is passing through A(a, b) and B(c, d)

And the equation of that line is

y-b=m(x-a)

Given pts are A(-1,2)

And B(-2,8)

Slope (m) =8-2/-2+1

=-6

Then the equation of line is

y-2=-6(x+1)

y-2=-6x-1

6x+y-1=0

Now we will write this equation in slope intercept form

Then it will be x/1/6+y=1

These implies that the y intercept is 1
