Hey mate!!!

zero error is simply the reading of a measuring device when input quantity is zero.. zero correction means to make the adjustment in such a way that the measuring instruments shows zero when input is zero...

To find negative zero error know the division on the circular scale (C.S.R) coinciding with the line of the main scale line then the negative error is equal to the product of the number of division on circular scale matching with the main scale line and least count of the micrometre screw....
