How to find two no. if their sum and lcm is given?

Let HCF of two numbers be 6 and LCM be 300.Let numbers be x and y.

x=6a and y=6b,where a and b are relative prime to each others.

6ab=LCM of x and y.

ab=300/6=50.

Now find a and b relative prime to each others and ab=50.

Thus (1,50),(2,25)

Hence numbers are

(6,300),(12,150)
