(c) 3
Fe 3+ Cl 1- combine to form
FeCl3
Actually the valency of the elements exchange so that the compound is neutral

valency in a compound can be find easily by electronic configuration
i.e., for Fe - atomic no. of Fe is26
it's electronic configuration is 2,8,8,8
so its valency is zero
explain- no. of electron present in outer shell gives the valency . valency increase from 1 to 4 the decrease from 3 to 0
outer shell has 1 then valency is 1

vishu543: do u undrstand ???
Student645: i just need to tell that im in 7th class but our syllabus is all about it so tell it in easy way plz
vishu543: it is the easiest way to find valency . have yur teacher taught u about electronic configuration ?
Student645: no, im just in 7th but because of I joined an institute lately so they make us study high level things, so is there any other easy way to find valency
Student645: in a compound
Student645: by the way i dont know electronic configuration
vishu543: sorry dear , but for calculating valency u must be study about electronic configuration b'coz there no any easiest way rather than it . if u got any easiest way then plzz inform me also
Student645: ok then tell me about electronic configuration
Student645: plzz
vishu543: ok
