I presume you're acquainted with the concept of molar mass and gram molecular mass.
One mole or one gram molecular mass of any gas occupies 22.4L at STP.
Take the given mass of the gas and find out it's volume using the above relation.
Let's take an example.
Find the volume occupied by 8g of Oxygen gas at STP.
Gram Molecular Mass of Oxygen gas (O2) = 16+16 = 32g
32g of oxygen (1 mole) occupies 22.4 L.
Given mass : 8g.
8 g will occupy - (8/32)*22.4 L = 0.25*22.4L = 5.6L
