The error that arises in measuring instruments due to non-coincidence of zeros on different scales is called zero error.
A resultant value that is greater than zero in case of any measurement or calculations with expected value of zero is called zero error. your expected result of A+B=0, But after actual calculation you come to know that, the result is greater than zero. Zero error is useful in calibrating measuring instruments.
