You could use the alpha beta Gamma method
Every cubic polynomial is of the form ax^3+bx^2+CX+d=0
sum of zeroes=Alpha+beta+gama= -b/a
Sum of zeroes taken two at a tym=alpha beta+ beta gama + gama alpha= c/a
product of zeroes=alpha*beta*gama= -d/a
