How to forget people

This is tough.

Thing is, no matter how hard we try, we can't forget. With the exception that we've never really met a particular person / had an accident whereby we lost our memories, it surely is possible. But how do we erase such profound memories of someone whom we've dearly known? Is it really possible to just delete all of that from our memories? If only that was possible.

It goes without saying that memories linger on long after someone leaves us, because of different circumstances (death could be one such reason). And though some would prefer forgetting 'em because it becomes unbearable at times, I think that's what makes us, humans, stronger. Not all people are toxic, and though, we can learn a lesson or two from such people, we do get a lot of courage and strength from those who really care.

I personally wouldn't want to forget anyone whom I've come across so far. No matter under what circumstances we met, I'd want to keep those memories.
