how to form a polynomial equation when we have the roots given

When the roots are given, say alpha and beta, the first step is to find the sum and the product of the zeros..

ie alpha + beta =?......... (i)
Alpha * beta =?........... (ii)

Then the next step is to form the polynomial.U simply have to substitute (i) and (ii) in the equation given below,

x2 - (alpha + beta) x + alpha*beta

That's it.....
