in general to balance an equation here are the things we need to do

1.count the atoms of real element in the reactants and the product .

2.use coefficients place them in front of the compound as needed .

\boxed{AhoyMateyy!!!}

  • a chemical equaion is the symbolic representation of a chemical change
  • they sahll be made more informative by indicating physical state, heat changes, gas evolved, and percipitate
  • A balanced / perfect chemical equation can give the following info :
  1. Relative masses of reactants and products
  2. molar ratios of reactants and products ( if masses are expressed in grams )
  3. Volume of gas evolved
  4. Number of molecules and atoms of different substances
  • a chemical equation should always be balanced according to law of conservation of mass
  • according to law of conservation of mass, the total mass of the products formed  in chem reaction must equal the total mass of reactants consumed
  • the no. of atoms of each element before and after reaction must be the same
  • using molar mass and avogadro's number, calculate the no. of molecules and atoms of different substances from the equation
  • while balancing the equatn, the symbols and formulae of the compounds shouldn't be changed but only their co-efficients shoul be least possible whole numbers...
