in general to balance an equation here are the things we need to do
1.count the atoms of real element in the reactants and the product .
2.use coefficients place them in front of the compound as needed .

- a chemical equaion is the symbolic representation of a chemical change
- they sahll be made more informative by indicating physical state, heat changes, gas evolved, and percipitate
- A balanced / perfect chemical equation can give the following info :
- Relative masses of reactants and products
- molar ratios of reactants and products ( if masses are expressed in grams )
- Volume of gas evolved
- Number of molecules and atoms of different substances
- a chemical equation should always be balanced according to law of conservation of mass
- according to law of conservation of mass, the total mass of the products formed in chem reaction must equal the total mass of reactants consumed
- the no. of atoms of each element before and after reaction must be the same
- using molar mass and avogadro's number, calculate the no. of molecules and atoms of different substances from the equation
- while balancing the equatn, the symbols and formulae of the compounds shouldn't be changed but only their co-efficients shoul be least possible whole numbers...
