Physics And Mathematics: A Nightmare for Most
You know, there are three things in the world that 99% of people are afraid of:
- Death
- Physics
- Mathematics
Okay, Some of us might not be afraid of the first one, but you can't deny the latter two! Haha. Lame Jokes apart.
Physics and Mathematics are just another two of the subjects that we've got to deal with man! Don't let it become the grim reaper for you, because it's not. Yes, it was not created to haunt you, but to teach to you some very crucial aspects of the mysterious universe you live in. Let's deal with Physics first. What can be some reasons that make you hate it? low marks? difficulties in understanding? or remembering? or maybe you just don't find it interesting? We've got a solution for all those problems dude.
For the 1st reason, if you hate physics because you think you can't score in it, then you're doing it all wrong bro. Your approach is the problem. Why are you even studying it for marks?! Like, seriously? CAUTION: physics can be injurious to health (if studied for marks). You need to understand that this is not. P.ed! You can't be studying it a few days before exam and expect to score good. You must work hard from day one. Why did you even take science if you weren't going to take it seriously :/ The most important thing for physics is: to let it sink in slowly. I mean, study it topic by topic, not as chapters. Its taking too long? let it. Let it take long, but make sure you keep on a single topic until you understand what it says. Slow burn is what's gonna make you fall for physics. Haha. Also, as said by Sir H.C Verma, "maths is the language of physics" (that's the reason most bio students suffer in it) So, if you really wanna excel in physics, get your basic mathematics strong. Practice a few essential topics from 11th and 12 maths books, like deffrentiation, integration, binomial, quadratic, etc. Anyway, if we're talking of physics, how can we not talk about Physics Wallah? like, Is that even possible? no. Cause this man has won all our hearts. Do study from him if you don't get a certain topic or even if you get it, because the way your concepts will strengthen through his lectures is exclusive. Then, obviously you need to practice loads and loads of questions. Practicing questions is going to give you confidence. Some good books are: Concepts of physics by sir HC verma, Fundamentals of physics by wresnick & Halliday, SL Arora (helpful for school exams).
Coming to mathematics, there's not much to say about it, the best way to excel in it is only practicing. What else can one do with it? Read the theory? haha. So do practice it everyday. The more time you spend with it, the more you'll love it (just like human relationships :) That's all I had to say about these two beautiful subjects. Thanks for reading till the end, not many people will do that :)
