Please ask with your teacher from my thought
If you are in 8 class you have to study at home 4 hours minimum. Also make write that thing in ruff copy.

Studying for hard exams then here are tricks accordingto me

At the beginning of study take the book that you need And a rough book

Then when memorising always write the answers In The rough book

Atleast study for 3 hours daily and on weekends 4hours

And always have the minimum light and close the curtain that allow to much light this will help you to study with attention
