A pie diagram or chart shows or illustrates the frequency distribution of a particular data set with percentage distribution/allocation of each observation or category in the data set.Now,we know that the pie chart or diagram is a circle and the total degree of the circle is 360 and to get a degree of any single category or observation in the diagram,we have to know the percentage measure of that observation and then divide it by 100(as all the percentage terms have to add up to 100).Once the value of the first calculation is obtained,we can multiply the value by 360 degree to get the equivalent degree measure of the particular observation.
