There are many affective ways.I am also in class 10.I am following these tricks.

1)Write down what you read.It is really affective because now you eye and hand will both feel what you learnt.

2)Make flash cards.These are really useful to remember the chapters you have trouble with.

3) Decorate your room with useful formulas.It will help you remember them faster because you will see them everyday.

4)Take care of your health or you won't be able to perform well in the exam.

5)Listen to some classical or relaxing music while studying.It will help you to concentrate.

6)About a week before exam.Right down something like cheat sheet.On the the night before the exam.You just have to take a quick look on it.You won't have to read the whole book.
