Eligibility and selection of beneficiary under the scheme
Under the scheme, small and marginal farmers are eligible for 1800 watt(2 HP) surface solar pump and 3000 watt(3 HP) submersible solar pump and other big farmers of the state are eligible for 4800 watt (5 HP) submersible pumps. Priority will be given to small and marginal farmers. In case of non availability of small and marginal farmers, solar irrigation pump of 4800 watt will be made available to other farmers.
In accordance with the G.O.No.416/12-3-2015-100(10)2014 dt.04 March,2015,eligibility,availability of small and marginal farmers ,and in case of their non availability ,status of other farmers ,last date of receipt of application form will be advertised through print and electronic media and will be posted on departmental web-site.
Selection of beneficiary for establishment of solar pump during the year 2016-17 will be done on first come, first serve basis and the pump will be established after the approval of list of selected beneficiary by District Magistrate. Priority will be given to the beneficiary, who has deposited Demand Draft of farmer’s share last year.
Permissible Grant
As per guidelines of “Jawahar Lal Nehru National Solar Mission” issued by Ministry of Renewable Energy, Government of India, arrangement for grant has been made on solar photo voltaic pump of 900 watt(1 HP) to 5000 watt(5 HP).
