suppose you have 10
and 14 and u have to find hcf
so u divided 10 by 2 u get 5 and than divide 5 by 5 and then u get 1
and then we divide 14 by 2 we get 7 and 7 by 7 we get 1
we get common in both 10 and 14 is 2
it si highest Common factor
