how to get the formula of surface area of cuboid

The surface area of cuboid = 2(lb+bh+lh)


where l. =>length

b => breadth

h => height

THE ANSWER IS HERE,

CSA of cuboid => perimeter of base ×height .

=> Base of cuboid is rectangle.So,

=> CSA => 2 (l+b)h

Surface Area => CSA +2 (Area of base )

=> 2h (l+b)+2lb

=> 2lh+2bh+2lb

=> 2(lb+bh+hl)
