Every Polygon can be divided into (n-2) triangles where n is no . of sides in a polygon.
For example, a quadrilateral can be divided into 2 triangles, a pentagon into 3 and so on.
Sum of angles of a triangle is 180°. So sum of angles of a polygon will be 180(n-2).
Or 180n - 360.
Let me solve one for u. For example, an octagon,
n = 8
No. of triangles can be made = 8-2 = 6
Sum of angles = 180×6 = 1080°
You can try cutting several polygons into triangles, u will find the same given be me.
