Find the value of -√3 and -√27 .

SOLUTION  

i) -√3

We find the square root of -√3 by long division method (same like √3 ). Pls check the attachment.

∴ -√3 = -1.732050807 ...

ii) -√27

By long division method, we get -√27

                      = -5.1961524
