To group objects follow the given step...
1)open a presentation containing two or more objects.
2)select the objects by dragging a selection box around the objects.
the format tab appears in the ribbon.
3)click the down arrow of the group button under the range group of format tab a dropdownlist appears.
4) select select the group option from the dropdown list.
the objects are grouped.
