In simple sentences there are no conjunctions and a single sentence is only present. In compound sentences there has to be a coordinate conjunction like and, but, as ,so etc
In complex sentences there is a subordinate conjunction and subordinate conjunction include all wh- words like where what when etc. and so that, that ,though, unless ,if ,until are also used
