hey mate here is your answer...
North, South, East, and West are the four main "cardinal" directions.Every map has a Map Scale which relates distance on the map to the world. For example, one inch equals one mile.

Every map has four directions scaled . East, west, north and south . In any map upper phase is north, lower phase is south, in right East, and in left west.
