How to identify two balls having same external radius and weight, one hollow and the other solid, of different materials?

1) First we assume that the densities of the materials are known.

2) Divide their weights with 10 to get the masses.

3) Divide these masses by their densities to determine the expected volume.

4) Calculate their volumes using their radii (v = 4/3 πr³)

5) Compare the volumes in (3) and (4)

6) the one that does not give equal volume in (3) and (4) is the hollow one.
