In active voice the person or animal denoted by subject is doing some work or is active whereas in passive voice the subject does not acts but is suffering action done by someone
Let's take an easy example...
The hunter shot the lion
In this sentence hunter is doing an action
The lion was shot by the hunter
In this sentence the lion is sufferer of action

In active voice: the sentence will straight forward to the speaking person.
Example:
Radha:iam playing
Meena: mm ok play
In passive voice: the sentence are added by the word "that" it will have "third person"
Example:
Meena:she said that she was playing
Radha mom:ok dear
