The best way to improve writing skills is to write something everyday. Something from your mind or from book, just copy it and write in a rough copy.
Same trick is for reading , just read the chapters repeatedly and if you find any doubts just ask it to the teachers the next day.

you should write at least 3&4 page writing that helps you to improve your writing
and you find some new word from dictionary and read 3&4 times at least ,,,so your writing and reading is improve day by day
