How to indentify the root system i.e. fibrous or taproot without uprooting?

Hi friend,

This is can be found at by looking for the venation of the leaf i.e. the pattern in which the veins of leaves is arranged in.

Plants with reticulated venation in their leaves mostly have tap roots while plants with leaves having parallel venation tend to have fibrous roots.

However this rule is not universal to all plants.
