The formula for finding a rational number between any two numbers:

(1st number + 2nd number) / 2

OR

(1st number + 2nd number) × 1/2

So,
0.5 + 0.6 / 2

= 1.1 / 2
= 0.55

.°. First rational number between 0.5 and 0.6 is 0.55.

Now,
0.55 + 0.5 / 2

After that,
0.55 + 0.6 / 2

Then,
Take any two numbers again (which you have not calculated yet) to get the fourth rational number.

By this method you can find any number of rational numbers between two numbers.

Hope this helps!
