How to judge by name whether company is public or private?

I don't think that we can judge it by the name...

It's like we shouldn't judge a book by its cover....in the same way don't judge a company by its name....it may show some name which might sound like it's public but may be private vice versa...

If you judge it by name it may lead to some misunderstanding & loss of precious marks
