First of all choose which programming language you wanna learn
if you are still not sure which language you should learn, the i will suggest you to know what your requirment is, if you wanna make websites than you should learn HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP etc and if you wanna make AI bots than you should learn python.
After slecting your language you should learn basics of it, like variables, data types, conidtional statements, loops etc
Learn syntax of that language too... it's VERY IMPORTANT... get familiar with it...
After learning basics you should make a roadmap for you, i mean you have to talk to your mentor or search on internet about that language, what you can make with it.. after that start making small programms with, do not chalange your self with complex programs, start with small programms
it will make your base strong, so after that start leaning best coding practices of that language like functional programming and object oriented programming.. convert your programms from functional to object oriented and vice versa...
