I know a great technique buddy! here it is:
Its called FEYNMAN'S TECHNIQUE.
It is basically a technique to learn something thoroughly so that it's that perfectly simple to you that you can explain it to even a child. It consists of 4 steps they are:
1.Pick a topic you want to learn and start studying it. Take a notebook and write down everything you know about it. When you read further add more points to that notebook. Adding points is the best choice.
2.Pretend to explain it. Try to pretend that you're explaining it to a class.
3.Go back to books when you get stuck. Anytime you feel a thing isn't clear to you go back to books.
4.Simplify your work. Simplify the things you wrote in that notebook and try to make it more simpler to explain it.

LET ME SAY YOU SOME TIPS WHICH I KNOW!!

1)First dear, my advice is don't mug up anything...just understand and study....
2)Study for a long time without any distractions that means less watching TV,seeing cell etc......don't be addictive to anything.......
3)If u hv any doubts ask it to elders or u r friends or teachers...don't afraid to ask doubts!!!!!
ENGLISH:
It's an challenging one..we hv to think on the spot...and hv to write correctly without any grammatical mistakes u can use many guides or videos in u tube to clear u r doubts in grammar.
MATHS:
BE CAREFUL while doing maths don't leave careless mistake u can mug up formulae
but not sums.....do carefully in calculations....
SCIENCE:
U hv to understand every lessons clearly so that u can rite of u r own correctly and draw diagrams neatly an label the parts carefully.....
SOCIAL:
Concentrate on one words becoz u may confused in that and be thorough in dates
do map correctly and understand every questions and rite.....
