Here are some points that'll help you to study history. BTW these points will not only help you in history but in other subjects too.

(1) Study and make key points: This will literally help you a lot. Make a big cloud and write the topic inside the cloud. Then outside the cloud sketch lines and write important points from the whole chapter.

(2) Be attentive during class: Hey to understand well it's important to be attentive in class and listen to your teacher.

(3) Write notes if your teacher allows you to: Some teachers think that writing notes distracts kids and that they should just *listen* to your teacher. Do whatever your teacher tells you to.

(4) Underline: I never knew that this would actually help me to memorize the important things until my teacher told me. Underline important points and if you think it's more than important make a curly line under it.

(5) Dates ( the main problem for most people): Dates have never been a problem with me in history. If you have problem in learning different dates just do a simple thing. Make a different section for writing the dates. This doesn't seem too useful but it will help you a lot if you do it.

(6) Divide your work: Divide your work into points. For example in a paragraph there can be three points or you can obviously make more points. Dividing your paragraphs into points makes it easy to learn.

(7) Think about the subject positively: It's important that you should take interest in the subject. Taking interest in a particular subject makes it quick and easy to learn. In addition to this also think positively about the subject.
