If you have a great passion towards learning it's easy for your brain to load the stuff you have read. But no one is a prodigy to get everything into just by a single read.
So it's your comfort to decide whether to study by reading textbook and memorising by that or by watching online videos and make points along with that...
If you are reading via book make sure you have made points on all the important topics ,(self made notes) and go through it 2-3 times before exam..and then read the Important questions or textbook questions..as you have made points from all the topics its easy to answer questions from any corner...if the points you have made is not in our questions improvise it and read them.
That's a easy way to read History(map work also), economics and Civics.
and geography go through examples and textbook questions.(also map work).
Learning via video then watch the videos along with you textbook and paper to make instant points. So that you also underline important things!!
I would recommend to watch Pustack!..If you still don't understand visit Bhai ki padhai( both the channels are in Hindi language- points in English)...
Best social science guide I won't recommend to refer but still as reference to revise the important questions. It's better to look over Xamidea (cbse).
Hope this would help you and work over....
