Given:-

  • How to make 1/6+1/3 into its lowest term

Solution:-

  • 1/6+1/3

  • =>L.C.M of denominator= 6.

Divide the l.c.m. with the denominator.

  • =>6÷6= 1.
  • =>6÷3=2.

Now multiply the quotient with the numerator:-

  • 1×1=1
  • 1×2=2

Now arrange them in addition form .

  • 1+2/6
  • =>3/6
  • =>2 (required answer)
