How to make a 1% solution in 30 g water

Solvent = 30g

Solution = x+30g

mass of solute/mass of solution * 100 = 1%

x/x+30 = 1

100x = x+30

99x = 30

x = 30/99 = 10/33 = 0.303 = solute
