For biology particularly first know that you have to master NCERT.

1. Go through the syllabus.

2. Divide the syllabus into major part and minor part major parts includes high weightage chapters like plant physiology, Human physiology etc. Focus more on it.

3. Never pick a random topic like chapter 2 then 7 always start from beginning.

4. If you have your study material then for example your are starting with biological classification and you completed algae from it then read same topic from NCERT along with it then solve questions related to it or you can also do if after the completion of whole chapter.

5. Know what is relevant and what is not.. This is literally very important aspect most of the books or coaching classes ask irrelevant question or tough questions don't panic they aren't important.

How do you identify what is relevant and what is not ?

  • By solving previous year questions, if you solve previous year papers then you get the idea that what kind of questions they ask. You can join a test series.

6. If you have problem in any chapter then ask your teacher or watch that particular chapter from youtube then the channel I recommend you is definitely Vedantu biotonic.

This is literally amazing you can leave all your biology tension to vani mam from Vbiotonic she will make it simple for you. I was her student.

7. Know your strength that which topics your best and which are weak keep revising the topics which are your strength and give more time to weak topics.

8. Revision is the key, daily revision is mandatory. Make revision as a part of your time table. For example you completed 10 chapters so you'll revise daily 1 or 2 chapter.

9. If you are preparing on your own means self study then you must join a test series it is actually very important, know how much you are scoring analyze it.

10. Analysis is important point out your weak topics or silly mistakes from there for eg. you did a silly mistake from digestion chapter then go to that chapter.. find that topic and write your mistake there so that when you'll read that chapter again you will know what silly mistake you did or what was your misconception. So that you will be accurate from that topic next time it will save you from getting negative marks.

It may sound that it is tough to manage but a perfect time table will help you a lot.

All the best!
