Ingredients
. 2 cups mango puree preferably totapari or any othe rmango of your choice
. 1 cup sugar You can even substitute with grated jaggery
ghee for greasing the plate
Instructions
1. In a pan, add the mango puree and sugar. Stir and cook on medium low heat till it is reduced to half in quantity.
2. Take a large plate or a plastic sheet. Apply the ghee to grease the plate.
3. Pour the mango mixture on the plate spread to make a thin layer.
4. Place this spread in the sun for couple of days or till it dries. I find it gets perfectly dry within a day. Depending upon the amount of sun and heat you get, it will take a day up to four days to dry this mamidi tandra.
5. Once dry, cut them into your desired shapes and enjoy.

First, take the ingredients for mamidi tandra such as riped mango puree, sugar or jaggery, and ghee.
• After that, start making process, they will take a pan and put the sugar and mango puree in it and mix well in a low flame.
• Mix until both sugar and mango puree is reduced to half quantity.
• Then transfer the mixture on a thin poly sheet paper. They will be applied ghee on the poly sheet before pouring the mixture.
• Place this under the sun for one or two days till it is dry. Mamidi tandra is a jelly-like substance and very tasty to eat.
