Taste of blood is usually metallic because of iron content.

The usual suspect is ‘High Blood Sugar’ if the question was asked in earnest. But in this condition too unlikely can make the blood taste like sugar. Let's analyse it:

Blood sugar above 200 mg/dl (milligrams/deciliter) is considered diabetic

Let's assume someone has an extremely high blood sugar of 500 mg/dl. This is equivalent to 5 gm sugar dissolved in 1 litre of blood.

Or about a tablespoon of sugar dissolved in 1 litre of water. Is it still possible to have the solution taste sugary? I think no.

Also, it will be extremely u

nlikely to have a high blood sugar of 500mg/dl without any symptoms of diabetes.

If in doubt please see a qualified medical professional and get your blood sugar level checked.
