There are lots of cool physics-related experiments that you can find all over YT for example. At schools, it is mostly just information flow with occasional not-so-cool experiments that can't make anyone interested. However, there are quite a lot of those that you can perform by yourself. You can make steam-powered boat that swims by itself with just a milk carton and a couple of other things ;)

Physics can be made interesting by the following ways :

(i) Learn the important concepts by taking examples from daily life.

(ii) Take interest in mathematics first.

(iii) Take up challenges to yourself.

(iv) Do not mug up .

(v) Read the chapters you feel interesting .

(vi) Perform funny experiments to learn new concepts.

(vii) Go to labs and observe the experiment yourself .

(viii) Do not over read , when you are disinterested do other things.
