Gateway of Tally—>Accounts Info—>Groups.
Gateway of Tally—>Accounts Info—>Groups. You may create, alter, or display a single Group or multiple Groups. Single group option is useful when you wish to work on one group at a time. Multiple is a time and labour saving option in a list format and is useful when working on many sub-groups at a time. Once a sub-group is created, it behaves exactly like a group. Any reference to group would deem to include a sub-group.

Manage and operate groups in tally.

- Choose the necessary group's name from the List of Groups that is displayed.
- Changes can be made at the Group Alteration screen.
- To save the changes, select Yes.
- In Tally, you may set up a group corporation. Use ERP 9 to easily view all of your companies in one location. This group corporation is capable of operating as a single economic entity, allowing for the consolidation of financial data like the balance sheet, profit and loss account, and trial balance without having any effect on the transactions.
- All accounting vouchers employ a ledger as the real account head to identify your transactions. Ledger accounts include, for instance, the heads of the purchase, payments, sales, and receipts accounts. You cannot record any transaction without a ledger. Pre-established Ledgers.
- The primary features of the Masters menu in Tally are where one may manage and control groups. According to their characteristics, these groupings are used to categorise and identify account heads and to enable the presentation of summarised data.
