Solid Waste management must be conducted in a full- fledged manner to prevent the spread of hazardous infections and diseases among people. Here are some ways of Solid Waste Management:

  • Sanitary Landfill - is one of the most common and efficient ways of management where the waste is compressed to thin layers and sandwiched between layers of sand.
  • Recycling - is another easy and important way of management. The waste is classified as organic and inorganic and later on, these inorganic wastes are send to factories where they are crushed and made into new products.
  • Incineration - is a method where the waste is burned at very high temperatures and reduced to ashes, decreasing the bulk of the waste. But this method is hazardous as it emits harmful smoke fumes.

There are many other ways for solid waste management but the above mentioned ones are more popular.
