Enlarge the SEM image, first take a reference distance,or adjust the scale to required specific value, then depending on that, measure the length of  fiber diameter(draw a line from one edge of the fiber to the other edge) and press Ctrl+M.It gives you single fiber diameter. If the fiber is not having uniform diameter, then take the diameter measurement minimum at 3 places and take the average to get single fiber dia.Do the same procedure for all other fibers in the SEM image (more the number of measurements, better is the accuracy). Then plot the obtained values in origin pro software to get mean fiber diameter and fiber diameter distribution.

Answer:

The mean fibre position has a value ranging between 0.33 and 0.38, implying greater packing density near the centre of the yarn with increasing twist. Migration takes place from the sheath to the core and vice versa. Root-mean-square deviation values are almost half of the value expected for ideal migration.
