put a laser light on the top of the building and a mirror at the bottom of the building but keep the mirror in some distance. measure the distance between mirror and building. then switch on the laser light and keep light on mirror. now place the mirror in such angel that the reflection of the laser light point on the foot of the building. measure the angel . now we can calculate the angel between laser beam & reflected beam by 180°-2a ,where a is angel in which mirror is placed. with this angel between ray and distance between mirror and building we can calculate the height of the building by this formula
tan(180°-2a)*b ,where b=distance between mirror and building, a= angel in which mirror is placed.......
