A major key and its relative minor use the same key signature, which means they use the same sharps (indicated as #) and flats (shown as b) in their scales. When you read the circle of fifths, you'll notice that the major keys are on outside of the circle.

➡️As you probably know already (this is mostly for those who might not), there are twelve notes in the Circle Of Fifths, any of which can be expressed as either flats (b), sharps (#), or naturals (which sometimes has a marking my keyboard won’t generate).
A fifth is just the distance between any reference note and the note five notes higher (it’s also a ratio of 3:2 on any pair of vibrating objects). So A-B-C-D-E gives the fifth A-E. The fifth is also called a perfect fifth for reasons we can explore later (but not in this Answer).
