How to merge or mix the song in audacity?

Select both tracks of audio together by going to the Audacity EDIT menu and SELECT ALL. The Audacity Mix and Render function will combine both tracks together as one stereo track. Audacity combine tracks is a piece of cake!!

To merge songs in Audacity for free, you should follow:

1. Open Audacity and drag songs to it;

2. When all song files are added, they are placed in timeline and start playing at the same time. To combine them into one, you should move the second track to the end of the first one. Make sure that the end point of the first song file is the start point of the second one. How? Please choose "Time Shift Tool" or press F5 on your keyboard and then left-click and move right the second track until its start time is attached to the end time of the first track;

3. After that, proceed to "File" > "Export" > "Export as ..." to output these song tracks into a single song file.
